Model: Magnetic field of toroidal currents
Model features:
- Brief theory on the mathematical foundation of the model.
- Some equations come in the equation editor and are the same as the Biot-Savart model, which are already found in the 3DModels sheet.
- Contains instructions on its operation and short simulation examples.
- The equations to calculate the magnetic field are the same as those of the 28 Biot-Savart model. The difference here is in the equations for distributing the current elements and configuring a toroid in three-dimensional space.
- The model allows to calculate and study the magnetic field of one or more toroids, at any point in space. Toroidal currents can be configured with the following custom parameters: radii r and R, number of turns, number of current elements, angle at which the turns are distributed, magnitude of the current, length of each element dL and others.
